The Beacon Run in New York has become infamous for Allman Brothers Band (ABB) fans. The run is a stretch of concerts by the ABB in March every year; the thing that makes this stretch different is with the close of  their 2014 tour Warren Hayes and Derek Trucks are leaving the band. So at the mark of ABB’s 45th Anniversary the final Beacon Run commenced.
There were to be 14 shows this year beginning on March 7th with the final show on March 29th, unfortunately, Gregg Allman battling bronchitis did not make the shows on the 21st or the 22nd. The last four show following were postponed with a promise that ABB would complete the run at a later date this year.

Without Gregg, the two shows on the 21st and 22nd were guitar fueled blues’ fests with special guests and jams as always of epic proportions, just incredible shows both nights. Gregg was missed, and our hearts and prayers went out to him but, the all of the others stepped up and brought the show home and the full sold out Beacon theatre roared with appreciation. They got what they came for, a live show of epic proportion!
