Cathouse,” the very word evokes images of sex, debauchery and a freewheeling, wild lifestyle; exactly the possible scene this Tuesday July 14th at the “Cathouse Live Battle Of The Bands” scheduled for 5:30 p.m. PCT. Held at the Whisky A Go-Go located at 8901 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA.

Former owner Riki Rachtman of the famed club hosted perhaps more rock stars, metalAdmat Cathouse-08-15-15 bands and celebrities than the Forum. Rachtman is joined by “Metal Edge‘s” Paul Gargano, DJ Will (KNAC) and Danny Dangerous (The Zeros) for the judging of this one night marathon event featuring fourteen unsigned bands to determine which two will grace the stages at Cathouse Live at Irvine Meadows on August 15.

The Grand Prize Winner will open up the main stage and the Runner Up will open the secondary platform of what has been termed “Decadent music and lifestyle festival” by the event organizers in a recent press release. The winners will be whipping the crowd into a frenzy for likes of; Sebastian Bach, Extreme, Dokken, Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Dangerous Toys, L.A. Guns, Black ‘N Blue and many more.

Vying for those two open slots will be 10 To Midnite, Faith & Bullets, Burning Heat, Kelly Maglia, LA Story, Madysin Hatter, Molly Vamp, Raven’s Cry, Rok Hammer, Scarlet Vice, Swamphammer, Stonebreed, The Aviators and The Hard Way. Each act taking the stage, rockin their set the harder than the wiggle of a curvaceous Cathouse siren in heat as they try and impress the judges and grab their ticket to the metal mayhem event of the year. This gig is promising to rock the Whisky to its core.

Tickets are available at the Whisky A Go-Go and Riki himself will be at the box office window the day of show from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. PCT selling a special “Cash only” package combination ticket for both events. A $40 ticket purchase entitles the bearer to admission to The Battle of The Bands, a lawn seat at Cathouse Live at Irvine Meadows and a tee shirt.
