The town of Grand Junction, Colorado will come alive over the weekend of June 26, 27 and 28 as the first ever “Loudwire Music Festival” rocks and rolls its way into the Jam Ranch with three days of camping and music featuring three different headliners; one of which is Linkin Park.

Townsquare Media is making its debut into the festival arena with hopes of increasing the visibility of its Loudwire brand. In a recent press release, Dhruv Prasad, Executive Vice President of Live Events for the media giant said, “We are very excited to launch the Loudwire Music Festival at Jam Ranch. Loudwire is one of our flagship brands, spanning broadcast radio, syndicated radio and a national website; so the addition of a live festival seemed a natural way to evolve the brand and deliver a great experience to rock music fans.”

Linkin Park is the first confirmed headliner for the event which according to the same press release has lead vocalist Chester Bennington and his band mates rather stoked as he was quoted, “We’re really excited to play the first ever Loudwire music festival; this will be one epic rock show!”  The show organizers claim that all of rock music’s genres will be represented. There will be something for hard rock enthusiasts, classic rockers, metal heads, indie and alternative fans as well in an attempt to make it a total overall something for everyone experience.

The location, The Jam Ranch, in this small Colorado town with a current population of just under 60,000 is a great setting for a festival and camping experience like none other. Ticket packages include three-day passes of various levels and weekend or daily passes and of course there’s always the VIP option.  On site camping options range from the “Standard” package which is within “Walking distance” of the festival grounds at a cost of $95 to “Premier” or VIP which is the closest camping to the action starting at $180. Then, of course, there is the VIP Package, which starts at $400 and includes the “VIP Experience” and reserved seating to the stages and inclusion in various events. Weekend ticket options include general admission passes at a price of $79 or reserved seating for $225.

To date, Linkin Park is the only announced and confirmed headliner. The Grammy Award winners have sold over 50 million albums worldwide and are one of the largest tour draws to go along with being the biggest Facebook band with over 67 million fans. Who will the remaining headliners and acts be? We’ll have to wait and see but the “Loudwire Music Festival” promises to rock the summer of 2015.
