UPROAR Festival is in full force and coming to it’s conclusion this month with nothing but rave reviews. 2013 marks the fourth year of this screamin’ Rock and Roll music festival. The lineup is one not to miss. With artist raging from Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Coheed & Cambria, Circa Survive, Middle Class Rut, Beware of Darkness, and Walking Papers! Featuring some of your favorite beloved rockers as well as fresh new talent, this show is known for blowing the audience out of the water and leaving them craving next year’s performance.

When you make it out to the stellar show you’ll get a taste of what Jane’s Addiction has to offer! Their new song Another Soul Mate  is one that your mind will not forget. A humorous look at finding your soul mate using commonly visited online dating sites and mocking the reality of it. With the music video showing online profiles of users stating their most private information, you can’t help but bust out in laughter. Once you give it a listen, you’ll be hooked. But Jane’s isn’t the only news to share coming out of UPROAR….

If the music is good it will leave you wanting more, pushing repeat and you’ll find yourself lost in the sound. Duff McKagan the incredible bassist from the soaring band that will never fade, Gun N’ Roses, now plays bass in the band Walking Papers. With killer lyrics from Seattle based lead singer Jeff Angell, the band is unique, inspiring, and ready to entrap you. Offering that one of kind, badass Guns N’ Roses bass, tied in with Ben Anderson (Rorschach Test, Missionary Position) on keyboard and Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season) on drums, this band is going to rock the hell out of UPROAR. Guaranteed to bring a smile, and make memories you will never forget, Walking Papers is composed of musical brilliance, this is one band I for one am really looking forward to experiencing live at UPROAR.

The bands of UPROAR have been on tour since early August and will continue to perform until  the final show September 15^th.  The tour dates left are cruising from Colorado, Utah, Washington, Arizona, to California. This rad event may be making a pit stop in your town, so don’t miss it if you can help it! Prior years of UPROAR have been incredible. So scurry on down and get lost in the abyss of music from these talented musicians.
