Review by Kimberly Annette

Prolific, profound and penetrating is the music of Sluka’s latest release Introversions. The 13 track treasure is packed full of plenty golden gems. The beautifully haunting comparisons to Bowie blend masterfully with Sluka’s soulful originality. This impressive album is Christopher Sluka’s 10th studio album and was released in January of this year. It is always a pleasure to find new music written andsluka-promo-1 composed by an accomplished creative mind and Introversions definitely fulfills all expectations.

As part of Christopher Sluka’s artistic vision for Introversions, he is in the process of producing thirteen music videos, one for each track on Introversions. This collection of videos is scheduled for release on Blu-Ray DVD in November. The first four videos off the DVD are available on YouTube.

All of the first four videos “Doctor Strangelove,” “Valentine Lies,” “Sadder Than Sad” and “Gothic Cavalier” are diverse, eclectic layers of impassioned sound and imagery. The emblematic images of the above video, “Gothic Cavalier” instills provoking thought to the already lyrical depth of the song and is as powerful as it is surreal. If the first four are any indication the full DVD is sure to be a prized favorite.

The release of the Introversions DVD in November will coincide with the kickoff of Sluka’s European club tour for more information and links to all four video pre-releases see below.
