TAUK, the progressive fusion rock band from New York, has a new single “Sunshine Harry” out, just in time for their Halloween East Coast tour dates.

“Sunshine Harry” is a follow-up single to the release of the band’s second album, Homunculus (April 2013). Homunculus, pronounced “ho·MUN·cu·lus, “ is Latin for “little man,” referring to any representation of a small human being. Homunculus is phenomenally written, with true musical genius, so it is no wonder why Grammy-winning producer Robert Carranza (The Mars Volta, Jack Johnson) jumped on board to produce it.

The all-instrumental sounds of TAUK come through in full force on the new single and are spectacular with the hard-driving guitar, electric keys, and dips into the melodic. The song is sure to take you on a mystery journey of the mind and soul.

Alric “A.C.” Carter, the keyboardist for TAUK, says: “We’re really excited to release ‘Sunshine Harry’ to kick off our big East Coast Halloween shows in DC, Maryland, Philly and Brooklyn. This is such a fun song to play and rock out to. It was actually originally a B single on Homunculus, but it sounds so eerie, we thought it would work better as a Halloween single.”
