Tauk, a fusion/rock band from New York opened Friday’s events on the main stage at the Peach Music Festival. I

wasn’t sure what to expect having only listened to the tunes on their new LP, Homunculus before the day’s festivities began. I was aware of the music but what I experienced during their live set was a WOW moment. They played a cover of the Beetles “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” that filled the air and moved the soul.Tauk’s music is beautifully composed with slammin grooves that even gave me goose bumps on more than one occasion. These guys are truly gifted and obviously hard working. You don’t get that tight without having a cohesiveness that rises above the individual and becomes all about the love of the music.

Tauk, is Matt Jalbert (guitar), Charlie Dolan (bass), Alric “A.C.” Carter (keyboard/organ), Issac Teel (drums). The foursome melds together perfectly to form a sound worth checking out.
