“Hangin’ with the Band” ~ ULTRALUST, New York, NY ~ Support Local Live Music Series, Eps 1

On my recent trip to New York I had the chance to meet up with the guys from Ultralust at their rehearsal studio. While speaking to Danny Rojo the bands bassist about the band the thought occurred to me, Ultralust would be a perfect band to kick off a new series on a subject that has been weighing on my mind for some time, supporting local live music.  We need to get out there and support our local music scenes before we lose them or they are forced to go completely underground like the live punk scene of the 80’s with boarded up condemned buildings practically the only place for bands to play. Exaggeration? Maybe at the moment, but it is happening all across this country. So when I mentioned the subject to the guys in Ultralust they were all up for a sit down. Check out the video and then get out there see a live band and support your local live music scene before it’s gone!
