PLEASE NOTE. This is a music industry conference, and not open to the public. (And this event is not open to the public.)

For those attending the NAMM conference, who have a coveted invite in their hands, the only place to be on Friday, January 24, is at NAMM JAM 2014!

Presented by Heineken and sponsored by Jackson Guitars, Monster Energy, Rock-N-Roll Gangstar, EVH Amps, Sit Strings, Best-Tronics Pro Audio, Cube Passes and just-signed-on media sponsor Guitar World, this year’s 5th Annual NAMM JAM is shaping up as one of the best to date.

Once again, The Grove of Anaheim will host this, the most highly anticipated event of the entire NAMM Conference. Said to be the “hottest ticket at NAMM,” 2014’s version has just gotten even hotter, as former Ozzy guitarist Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel has just been announced as the show’s headliner.

Lee has recently come out of a self-imposed withdrawal from the spotlight, formed the Red Dragon Cartel and is ready to showcase his return to the metal/music world once again. With a January 28 scheduled release date of the self-titled debut album here in North America, this NAMM appearance will be a preview of what’s to come.

Red Dragon Cartel features not only Lee and his bandmates, but the recording also has the added talents of Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander, ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di’Anno and In This Moment’s Maria Brink. Preliminary reviews of the album report that Lee has returned with a vengeance and regained the form that made him revered by guitarists worldwide.

Joining the Red Dragon Cartel will be the progressive metal rockers Periphery, along with international guitar virtuoso Guthrie Govan & The Aristocrats.

Since the debut of their self-titled first full-length album in 2010, Periphery has taken the scene by storm. Touring extensively since its release, these hard-driving boys from our nation’s capital have no plans on slowing down. After NAMM JAM 2014, they will hit the road in New Zealand and Australia, as well as Japan, China and the Philippines before returning home for a few shows in Miami.

Guthrie Govan & The Aristocrats, an instrumental rock fusion trio will also be appearing on the bill. Hailing from England, Govan has worked with the likes of Asia, GPS, The Young Punx and Dizzee Rascal.

Also on tap is the always unique Jonny Coffin Fashion Show. This time around, Coffin combines with top LA fashion designers in what’s being labeled an “Ode to Motörhead” (overtly focused on the band’s legendary main man, Lemmy Kilmister).

Heineken NAMM JAM 2014, a Delve Texas Productions event, promises to rock The Grove to its very foundation with fashion, metal, music, mayhem and the return of Jake E. Lee—how can it not?

Those conference attendees who would like an opportunity to attend Heineken NAMM JAM 2014 should quickly visit  Jackson/Charvel Guitars (located in Ballroom E/3rd floor) and Rock-N-Roll Gangstar (located in Booth #4196).
